Heartfelt plea to find Black Taxi driver who saved a young woman who was grabbed by a man

The search is on for a hero taxi driver who saved a woman from being seriously assaulted by a man on Brighton beach. The black taxi driver leaped from his cab when he saw the woman being grabbed by the man during the early hours of Saturday morning. The attacker fled down the beach being chased by the cabbie hero who went back to comfort the victim. The mother of the victim has made a heartfelt plea on Facebook to find the man who “possibly saved” her daughter’s life.She said: “His actions restore my faith in our society. “Not all heroes wear capes, some drive taxis.” As reported by the Argus, the search is on to find the man, who is said to be in his fifties, so he can be thanked for his actions in person.The victim’s mother said: “He had granddaughters my daughter’s age. “This hero got out of his car and went to my daughter’s rescue. “I would like to find this taxi driver and thank him in person.”

There are currently no reports of any arrests.
