Where To Go
No matter what you like to do on holiday Australia has something for everyone. Whether its the surf and sand of Gold Coast, the famous sights of Sydney, the culture and coffee of Melbourne's laneways or the vast untamed nature of Perth and Western Australia there truly is something for everyone.
To see even more of the country then an open jaw (flying into one city and out of the other) can be a great option. Flights between Sydney and Melbourne for example can cost as little as £25 on Australian low cost airlines such as Jetstar and Tiger which you can find on our Flights Finder.
Where To Stay
In such a huge country with so many cities and climates there are thousands of different places to stay use our Hotel Finder to find something that floats your boat. A 3* hotel in Sydney starts at around £40 with 4* prices beginning at £60 per night. Melbourne offers similar prices with Perth and Brisbane being a little cheaper. As always accommodation prices will depend on where you want to be in the city and what level of facilities you're looking for, we know we've said it before but our Hotel Finder really is a great way to compare hotel prices and find a hotel that works for you!
Getting Around
Australia is a huge country so getting between the cities usually means flying, however for shorter trips around a region hiring a car gives you the ultimate flexibility to visit sites like the Blue Mountains, Mornington Peninsular and The Kimberley.
Visas
Every non-Australian citizen needs a visa to travel to Australia. Fortunately for British Citizen passport holders the relevant visa, called a subclass 651 eVisitor, is free and easy to obtain. Simply provide your details on the Australian Government website here and you'll be ready to jet off in no time!
